Neu-Ulm – Ein Platz für alle Generationen
Die Jungen, die Alten und die, die sich dazwischen finden - alle waren dabei, als der Heiner- Metzger- Platz offiziell eröffnet wurde. Es ist ein Platz für alle Generationen, mit vielfältigen Funktionen und Möglichkeiten. Es ist auch ein symbolischer und räumlicher Impuls für eine komplexe städtische Erneuerung von Neu-Ulm. Die Frische des Designs resultiert auch aus der Einbeziehung von Schülern vom Projektstart an mit einem ‚Brainstorming’ bis hin zur detaillierten Ausarbeitung von Sitzelementen. Dem Atelier Dreiseitl gelang es dabei, die kommunikativen Energien in eine 3-dimensionale Realität umzusetzen.
Neu-Ulm - Welcoming Generations within the Urban Heart
The young, the old and those who consider themselves somewhere in between were all on hand to officially open the new Heiner-Metzger Plaza. It is a space at ease across generations and with a multitude of functions. It is also symbolically and spatially the starting impulse for an extensive urban regeneration initiative within Neu-Ulm. The freshness of the design is drawn from the groups of high school students who participated in the project right from initial brainstorming to detailing seating elements. Atelier Dreiseitl transcribed their communicative energy into a 3-dimensional reality.
